2026 BUDGET;
FIVE-YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN;
ADOPTION OF FLOODPLAIN MAPS;

URBAN DRAINAGE AND FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT
d/b/ MILE HIGH FLOOD DISTRICT

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing has been scheduled for November 20, 2025, pursuant to Sections 32-11-214(3), C.R.S. 1973 and 32-11-218(1)(f)(II), C.R.S. 1973, as amended, of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control Act, by the Board of Directors of the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District d/b/a Mile High Flood District, to consider:

  1. Adoption of the 2026 Budget
    (A copy of such proposed budget has been filed in the office of the Mile High Flood District, 12575 W. Bayaud Avenue, Lakewood, Colorado 80228, where the same is open for public inspection.); and
  2. Adoption of the 2025-2029 Five-Year Capital Improvement Plan; and
  3. Adoption of Floodplain Maps for all portions of the following streams: 
    a.  Brantner Gulch and Tributarie 
    b. Weir Gulch and Tributaries
    c. SJCD (N) and SJCD (S) North Tributary

Such proposed adoptions will be considered at a meeting of the Mile High Flood District Board of Directors to be held virtually on November 20, at 1pm. Any taxpayer or public body owning drainage and flood control facilities in the areas involved or otherwise exercising powers affecting drainage and flood control therein, and other persons with interest within the District, may at any time prior to adoption of the above obtain pertinent information or file or register their objections thereto at the District office.
