The Mile High Flood District (MHFD), in partnership with the City of Commerce City, has released a Request for Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for the Commerce City Stormwater and Drainageway Infrastructure Prioritization Study.

This qualifications-based selection seeks a multidisciplinary consultant team to help shape a new, implementation-focused approach to stormwater and drainageway infrastructure planning. Rather than producing a traditional prioritized project list, this study will develop a practical decision-making framework that helps identify, communicate, and prioritize infrastructure investments based on flood risk reduction, community benefit, implementation opportunities, funding readiness, and coordination with transportation, parks and open space, utilities, redevelopment, and other city initiatives. The selected consultant will work collaboratively with MHFD and Commerce City to help define the final scope, process, and study deliverables.

Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) must be submitted electronically to rfq@mhfd.org no later than 5:00 PM MDT on Friday, August 21, 2026.
